PERQ

From first prototype to a product marketers rely on.

PERQ — From first prototype to a product marketers rely on.
PERQ property dashboard — lead management interface with property overview
PERQ brand badges — event and conference badge designs

The challenge

Multifamily marketers juggle spend across dozens of channels, and no single place tells them what’s actually working. PERQ set out to fix that with a new reporting product built for property management marketers — but “new” meant a blank canvas: no flows, no system, no proof the thing would land.

What we did

We came in at the whiteboard stage. Vision-setting, early prototypes, testing with real marketers — the messy, high-stakes front end of a 0→1 product, where you’re designing the thing and validating that it should exist at the same time.

As the product found its footing, we built the foundation to scale it. A design system to keep every screen consistent, and 10+ features designed end-to-end — many of them full 0→1 flows — including concepts for their AI insights tool that pushes PERQ from “here’s your data” to “here’s your next move.”

PERQ trade show booth — branded event presence with photography

We’re their design bench beyond the product, too: brand library, social graphics, decks, conference materials — the work that makes them look sharp in the field — and when they wanted to sharpen the brand itself, we shaped that direction with them.

PERQ brand imagery grid — lifestyle photography in a four-up layout
PERQ office environmental design — branded wall display in studio
PERQ client marketing site — luxury apartment homepage design
PERQ all properties view — property listing dashboard

The results

  • 0 → 1 product launch
  • 10+ features designed end-to-end, built on a shared design system
  • 2.5+ years as an embedded partner across product, brand, and marketing

Two and a half years in — through shipped features, in-person working sessions, and a product that grew from sketch to platform — we’ve become less a vendor than an extension of the PERQ team. The kind of partnership that gets renewed season after season.
